Two Months

is a long time to grown-ups. It's freakin' forever to an almost two-year old.
And my dear, sweet Sadie, how you have changed.

Your 'please' now sounds like 'meeeeng'.

You say 'nuts' for 'thanks'.

You recognize the sound of a bus, and then ask whoever's nearby to draw you a bus.

You peel all the papers off your crayons.

You're in bed by 9PM, but you stay up playing until 11PM.

You can call Oliver by his name {or most of it anyway}, but he still doesn't listen.

You started biting ~ first me, then yourself. Now you seem to be over it.

When I'm sewing, you pick up all my threads and trimmings

and take them to the garbage for me.

You love your baby like crazy. When she calls you or when she cries, you pick her up and rock her and say 'shhhh'. Then you usually body-slam her into the floor.

You yell. {really, really loudly}

You're kind of like a teenager in a toddler-suit.

You love to be chased.

You discovered a secret hiding spot, between my office cupboards and the wall...but only when the ironing board is out.

Blueberry waffles are your favorite breakfast.

You sit beside me while I draw, and hold my paper down so it doesn't slide around.

You do a fake, head-rolling laugh, with your eyes squeezed shut, just to make other people laugh.

You want to hold everything, do everything and see everything, preferably all by yourself.
