INCOMING…

There have been so many changes over the past 15 years, and this might just be the perfect place to document them. It should be interesting…

Thinking On It

Ultimately, this is a blog for Sadie

so that if she wants to know what happened

on September 30th, 2008,

minus potty training, (you're welcome)

she can.

But for just right now, let's pretend it's all mine.

Dear Michael,

I loved you, even before WHAM! I watched your Thriller video so many times during a sleepover, I thought my best friend would never speak to me again. I'm sorry I said you looked weird ~ what you did with your face was none of my business. I think you had a lovely heart. And thank you for the music.

Love Always,

Jen

On a Much Less Rainy Day,

three generations of girls were at a loss as to what to do. So,

{for gingerbread men}
it was a lovely (not rainy) day

Story Time

as read twice daily by Sadie
(and translated by me)
WINA!
Edwina - she's the dinosaur everybody loves.
COOKIES!

Dubie-Dubie. Gumpy.
Reginald Von Hoobie-Doobie is grumpy (he doesn't like Edwina)
Dubie Dubie. Dink.
Reginald Von Hoobie-Doobie tells everyone that dinosaurs are extinct.

The next two pages take about 10 minutes,
and have nothing to do with the story.
Mall (small), beeg (big), Dubie-Dubie, Puppy! Bown (the brown puppy)

Gampa (Grampa), Mama! (Grama), Puppy! (again), Baby! (the baby), Belly! (baby's belly), Mama! (the baby's mama), Pane! (the paper airplane), Weet-weet hats (the bird that's wearing a hat)

Dubie-Dubie.
(tells Edwina she's extinct)

Wina. ROCK!
Edwina is SHOCKED!

BOOF!
Edwina runs through the wall
Happy!

COOKIES!
The End

On The Road of Life,

no matter how cool your bus is,

sometimes you just need to stop

and pick yourself some dandelions.

Birthday NĂºmero Dos

I didn't want to say Number Two,
but now that I've gone and done it anyway
in an attempt to explain myself,

allow me to distract you with family photos of
Sadie's Second Birthday.

It was a quiet and lovely way to celebrate.
