I won't get into why.
I will say that it's been a challenge to find
that Thread of Gold,
and far too easy to focus on the negative.
Now that the rough patch is over, this is what I've learned (again):
Stress, frustration and worry are self-imposed
(and useless).
A small taste of bitter every so often helps to appreciate the sweet.
. . . and life is sweet.

If only we didn't have to go through the icky part of the journey (speaking from experience here)haha...I love you and am looking forward to seeing you tonight! Yay!
If not for the challenges and obsticles in our lives, we wouldn't know the ease and smoothness of our lives. If we had no bitter, we would have no sweet; if we felt no sadness we would feel no joy. For our greater good we must have both so we can grow to our full potential and appreciate the journey. For this trip we have been given a constant companion whose birth we celebrate this season, even Jesus Christ. With Him and because of Him there is nothing we cannot overcome because He will carry us, sharing our burdens, sadness and alowing us even greater success and joy. The Spirit of Christmas is not just a day,but something to be cherished every day.
Love Uncle Mike.
